One of the craziest production I have been involved in to date yet just posted. ESPN’s SportsNation wanted to create the ultimate dunk video in Venice Beach, so we pulled together the craziest production gear we could. This project was shot on three separate camera rigs, a Phantom, a RED Epic and a Wingman HD array. Matt Wyatt directed while Will Carnahan served as director of photography with John Benam on the Phantom. Original music was composed by Alfred Montejano. I helped build and operate the Wingman HD array, as well as did the cut with help from Brad Conlin. I did the cut.

Happy Valentine’s Day! For the release of Lady and the Tramp on BluRay, Disney decided to recreate the spaghetti scene with real dogs. Matt Wyatt directed while Will Carnahan served as director of photography with additional help from Mike Ambs and Ryan Meichtry. I did the cut.

With incentive to make it to Indianapolis for the Superbowl, comedian Adam Ray decided to hitch hike his way across the country with the least amount of baggage he could carry. I shot this version of Adam Ray‘s take on a Bud Light commercial gone wrong.

On New Year’s Eve, Disney Parks announced Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom would be open for 24 hours on February 29, 2012. Our creative group was contacted to produce the featured announcement piece online. Matt Wyatt directed while James Codeglia and Will Carnahan both served as directors of photography. I did the cut and VFX and Alfred Montejano composed the music.

Just in time for the holidays, comedian Adam Ray stormed the malls in Los Angeles as an undercover Santa to find out how the real mall Santa might react. I covered the event behind the camera.

To bring a little Mickey magic to New York, Disney Parks decided to take over a few screens in Times Square. Directed by Matt Wyatt and photographed by James Codeglia, I cut the narrative portions of this, as well as designed some of the visual effects. Additional effects were provided by James Codeglia and David Wolgemuth with music remixed by Alfred Montejano.

Last week I caught up with comedian Adam Ray just in time for Halloween to catch his long awaited rendition of Troy Condensation’s “Halloween Songs.”  We shot it at The Comedy Story on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood and I shot the production.  Thanks to the boys at Ghostlight for connecting us and Jared Grey for production assistance.

For the announcement of a special contest to unearth photos of Chief Creative Officer John Lasseter operating the Jungle Cruise ride in 1977 as a skipper, Pixar contacted DigiSynd to create a video. Matt Wyatt directed while James Codeglia shot and I provided the practical effects. Brad Conlin did the cut and Alfred Montejano did the sound design.

After unfortunately being passed over for a 2011 Webby Award, ESPN’s SportsNation wanted to release a response video. I did the cut and audio editing with Matt Wyatt directed and Alfred Montejano composed the ceremonial bed of music.

After watching so many trickshot videos, ESPN’s SportsNation team contacted DigiSynd‘s creative group to bring their own version to live. Matt Wyatt directed while I did the edit and visual effects. Music by Alfred Montejano.

With the coming theatrical release of the new Winnie the Pooh animated feature, Disney Animation Studios targeted part of their campaign at the internet audience that so loves quoting some of Pooh’s most lovable lines. I served as art director and motion graphics artist with additional motion graphics provided on several of these as well by Brad Conlin. See the whole series here.

For the much anticipated reopening of Star Tours in Disneyland, our creative group at DigiSynd was once again called upon to produce something that called out the internet audience. Matt Wyatt directed, while James Codeglia served as Director of Photography. Dave Codeglia did the VFX, while I provided the motion graphics. Music was composed by Alfred Montejano.

For the release of Cars 2, Pixar wanted to reveal exclusive footage to fans attending WonderCon 2011, but Pixar wanted them to work for it. Directed by Chris Cantwell and shot by James Codeglia, DigiSynd produced this video which contained some hidden info that lead to viewer to the footage. I did the cut and graphics, while Dave Codeglia did the VFX. Music by Alfred Montejano.

When Disney’s social media group began to develop their campaign for Twitter, our production group at DigiSynd was called upon to produce several videos to be released as part of their programming. Brad Conlin served as chief creative while I provided the art direction for our typography version song. Both of us animated with the help of Dave Codeglia and James Codeglia.

For the Superbowl ESPN’s SportsNation wanted to produce a commercial of their own, so they contacted DigiSynd‘s production team to make it a reality. For the release of the boxed set of the popular 80′s sitcom The Golden Girls, Disney’s Home Entertainment division wanted to produce a creative piece that would appeal to the internet audience. The result after sifting through over 40 episodes was this mashup of the theme song from individual works spoken throughout the series. Brad Conlin again served as chief creative while I did the cut.
